Infodebit, the leading provider of credit information for consumers and businesses in Moldova, announces a partnership with Mifundo, the company building a unified infrastructure for cross-border credit data in Europe.
More than 45 million people in Europe manage financial lives that cross borders. Many relocate for work, return home after time abroad, or maintain income and obligations in more than one country. For lenders, evaluating these customers remains difficult because domestic credit histories rarely travel with them.
The collaboration between Mifundo and Infodebit helps close this gap. By linking Infodebit’s Moldovan credit and public-record data with Mifundo’s passportable financial-identity framework, banks gain a clearer, verified view of applicants whose histories span multiple jurisdictions.
“Infodebit plays an important role in Moldova’s credit ecosystem, offering reliable and well-structured information to lenders,” said Kaido Saar, CEO of Mifundo. “Connecting their data into Mifundo’s European network strengthens our ability to support banks assessing cross-border customers with accuracy and confidence.”
“Our focus has always been to provide realiable credit information that helps institutions make better decisions,” said Antonina Ceban-Bejenaru, CEO at Infodebit. “Through this partnership, Moldovan data becomes part of a wider European framework, giving lenders a more complete basis for evaluation and helping Moldovan citizens abroad access fair financial services.”
The partnership supports Mifundo’s mission to make banking work seamlessly across borders by creating a single, trusted source of European credit data. Together, the companies enable faster and fairer lending decisions for people whose financial histories extend beyond one country.
